This year's contest had all teams competing at the same time to find multiple beacons over a large playing field on December 5. There were two rounds and winners were determined by the highest accumulated points over two rounds.

It was a very competitive contest. Congratulations to the
entire class for a job well done! The winner of the 2003 LEGO 101
competition is Team 7 with team members Ian McAuley, Lyndon McCoy, and
York Peacher. Second went to Team 5 with team members Daniel
Langenberg, Ryan Shelley, and Mickey Sutton. Third went to Team 10
with Sulan Chang, Jennifer Crouse, Jason Pele, and Levi Wheatcraft.
