University of Evansville OPTIONS for High School Girls 2006

What is OPTIONS for High School Girls?  An all inclusive residential camp for high school aged girls who have passed geometry (or an equivalent math course) and will be in either the 10th, 11th, 12th grade in the fall of 2006 or the equivalent home school level. When?   June 25 - July 1, 2006

Costs? $400 (Ask about available scholarships in your required essay if you need help with this amount.)

 

Where?   On the campus of the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN (There are modest travel stipends if you are three or more hours from the campus.  Just ask about it in your required essay.)  You will be housed in a modern, air-conditioned residence hall and all meals, snacks, and activity costs.

Purpose? To acquaint you with the vast career options available with a degree in engineering or computer science.

How? You will have mini classes taught by University professors: job shadowing with professional female engineers and computer scientists and take challenging courses.
