Want to learn about careers in engineering and
computer science through hands-on projects and other fun activities? UE Options for High School Girsls is a 7-day, 6-night all-inclusive residential learning experience.
Who:
High School aged girls currently in grades 9-11 or the home school equivalent
who have passed geometry.
When: 2010 Dates to be Announced
Where: The University of Evansville Campus, Evansville, IN. (There are modest travel stipends if you are three or more hours from the campus. Just ask about it in your required essay.)
Cost: $500 Includes all costs. Some need-based scholarships also available.
Selection is based on age, essay, and post mark. Early application is encouraged. Application Deadline: April 1, 2010 (Acceptance is limited to 20 participants)

Why are these girls smiling?
Because graduates of the OPTIONS for High School Girls program are awarded a $1250 scholarship for study upon acceptance as a full time student in any degree granting program at the University of Evansville. In addition, those who apply for admission to the College of Engineering and Computer Science will have priority consideration for other financial aid opportunities.
