Welcome to my webpage! This is my third year as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Evansville. In my first year, I had the opportunity to teach courses such as Introduction to Engineering, Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Instrumentation & Measurement, Numerical Analysis, and Advanced Fluid Mechanics. Thanks to the Center for Teaching Excellence at UE, I am striving to improve these courses using best practices and current research in engineering education.
My professional development is also very important to my personal growth as an engineer. For the past two summers, I have been privileged to participate in the Higher Education Research Experiences (HERE) for Faculty program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Through this program, I have been able to design and analyze component cooling for experimental fusion reactor designs using commercial computational fluid dynamics software. In addition, I continue to advance my dissertation research in the numerical analysis of micro- and nano-scale fluid evaporation and condensation.
